Studying Sassy: Jan 91 DIY

Per the request of the feature "Making It," I made.... an Alice band. I used fabric my friend Kyla gave me back when I lived in Chicago, which is printed with text (in French) that says "extra refined sugar" and little red hearts. [Anyone who knows me will find this hilarious. It would only be better if it said "sirop de mais a haute teneur en fructose <3."] I stitched the thing by hand, because it felt like the right thing to do. I'm not sure about incorperating this into my everyday style, except perhaps while exercising or washing my face. But we shall see! It was easy, I'm sure if I made one in black or grey I would find times to wear it out and about. Particularly while trying to hold on my stylin' 90's wig.
